Work Ready obtains this information by using technologies, including cookies, in order to increase the functionality and user-friendliness of our website and to better tailor our website to your needs. For example, we may want to know how long the average user spends on our website or which pages are visited the most.

We use the information and data we collect from our users for a variety of purposes:

How Do We Use User Data?

 When a student or user registers on an employability micro site and via our website, they will sign up using their first name, last name, an email address and password of their choice, the name of their university, their year of graduation and subject area.

These details are used to create an account on the system. This account enables users to access materials, complete online courses, receive certification and to view job opportunities.

Users will receive automated/ transactional emails when using the system. For example, a user will receive a notification when they have finished a module, completed a level or achieved a new badge. They cannot unsubscribe from these.

They will also receive emails containing job opportunities with relevant employers. These are sent by Work Ready and users can unsubscribe from these whenever they wish.

All data is stored in the UK and is not shared with third parties.

All data held within the domain is stored within the UK in a secure data centre located in Manchester.

Work Ready has administration access to this system and a security process in place to prevent any breaches of policy and safety.

Users can edit information on their profiles or delete their accounts whenever they would like to by logging in to using their username and password.

Purchasing one of our MicroLearning modules will involve you providing your card details via PayPal or Stripe. We do not store them for privacy and security reasons.
